How do I update my profile and agent settings?

Go to Account → Profile to update both your professional profile and the agent identity settings.

Useful profile fields:

  • Your title
  • Company
  • Areas of expertise
  • Agent name, icon, role, and focus areas

Why it matters:

  • Your professional profile helps the agent calibrate tone and technical depth
  • The agent identity settings change how the assistant presents itself in project chat
  • Replies from Email my agent are also signed with your agent name (not a generic team signature)
  • In shared projects, member-specific agent identities help clarify who is speaking and how they are configured

Email my agent lives under Account → Emails — opt in, copy project addresses, and review your inbound history.

  • See the Email my agent help section for routing, credits, and troubleshooting

How do I turn on Email my agent?

  1. Go to Account → Emails.
  2. Turn Email my agent ON.
  3. Email from the same address as your PrecisionDocs login so the platform can verify you.

Once enabled, you can:

  • Email agent@precisiondocs.ai for general intake (new site questions or routing to a project)
  • Email a project inbox copied from Project Home (Agent inbox row)
  • Reply to a prior agent email thread

Answers appear in your inbox and as assistant rows in the matching project chat.

What is an organization in PrecisionDocs?

Organizations group users for shared billing, shared credits, and collaboration. Your organization is your workspace.

Current behavior:

  • Business users are grouped by email domain
  • Organization members share one credit wallet and can collaborate on shared projects
  • Owners manage who is active from the Access roster in Account -> Organization
  • Owners can suspend or remove a member without deleting that member's usage history
  • Personal-email users get effectively private organizations unless they join a shared project through an invite

Organization membership determines who appears in your member picker and who can spend workspace credits.
